Hello Members:
Here is the selection for “September Picture Of The Month”, from the “Ships & Watercraft” category.
It is JohnMGD’s project called: Builders Model of HIJMS Kongo at 1-200 scale.

Stretching over several years, John recently completed this project with very authentic results.
He took the time to provide a beautiful array of photos showing the details from every angle.
John has been a member here since 2007. Kongo is the latest in a long line of fine work.

Absolutely immaculate. I can already tell he has put a lot of effort onto this; it definitely deserves being a POTM!

An astonishing piece of work! It's origins from mdf, balsa wood and card are undetectable and the standard of construction is extraordinarily good.
