The Hogwarts Express / A. Pirling

Hi everybody,

another model designed by Albrecht Pirling; the Hogwarts Express!
In comparison to the other models this was quite simple to build. But my children were happy!

Nicely done!

I imagine this one will be popular. I think it's wonderful that an old L.M.S. steam locomotive can become an icon for the current generation of children.

Hi Don, hi Andreas,

thank you!

This is no free download, I purchased it directly. Albrecht Pirlings models are not in trade, you have to send him an order.

Cheers Bernhard

Bernhard,

Do you have any contact details? Is there a catalogue or something available? I would be interested to buy some of his trains. Thanks.

Hi Armourman,

Mr. Pirling, who is constructing this models, is an old man; if you order something, he prints the model sheets and send it to you by mail. No download. I dont know, if he will be very pleased to get orders from all over the world(?). Therefore, I dont want to post his private email adress in this forum, ok?

If Albrecht Pirling wants to expand his activities (to be a "global player"), he himself will post a contact adress.

Cheers Bernhard

Don
It's NOT an LMS locomotive...... It's a Great Western (GWR) Locomotive painted red.

Best Regards,

Actually, Albrecht Perling has made several locomotives and also various rolling stock available for free download on our sister forum in Germany:
http://www.kartonmodell-forum.de/forum/
They have a number of other models for free download also. You do have to register with them to download, but it's easy: just your (real) name and email.

Be safe
Thomas
