Smile Micromodels LMS Duchess

Got this kit from a friend (Thanks, Phillip!). Gave it a go, and the results are stunning. I am impressed with how well it turned out. It is a very small model (around 1:200 scale), but it is a great one, none the less.

Photos of it being constructed, with the last two photos showing the complete model.

I'm with Papercut on this one. Love Micromodels but advancing years leave me in the same predicament. Opens case, removes battered violin and plays mournful tune. That is well done.

Micro loco

Great model and great build. This ole dog is pushing 86 but still building, mostly WWI aviation in 1/25 or 1/33 scale. Haven't tried a cardstock railroad model yet so this looks like a great place to start. Now please, where can I buy this great kit?

The original kits were printed in the 1940's to 1950's, I don't think anyone officially prints them anymore.

Keep an eye out on eBay auctions. You may find this set (M1) over time, or many others instead. They all build up to 1:200 scale, smaller than N but larger than Z.
