E94 Krokodil in 1/38 scale

This is a 1/38 scale model of the E94 Elektolok from Albrecht Pirling, that I built last year.
A beautiful model, albeit, LARGE, that I built as a gift for a friend.
Enjoy!

The pantographs are made from paper and thin wire.

The completed loco, married to the scale paper track and bed (see here: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/railway-related-builds/23901-1-38-track-bed.html) takes pride and place in my friends' display cabinet.

According to the Wiki, most of the remaining locos are in museums.
There are still a few still running.
You can read up on them here. DR-Baureihe E 94 ? Wikipedia The page is in German, but Google Translate does a good job!

EDIT: Oh, and Hello from an ex-Johannesburg resident (of 27 years) :D
