Hi all,
the first steps of the freight car: The body will have one door open, so I gave the inside walls the same structure as seen from outside. I will place some boxes and barrels in the car to conceil the strengthening walls. Greetings Dieter |

Great idea Didibuch forthe freight car, maybe you can build some diorama for your model, like old bridge diorama, it will be awesome.

Hi Bkti,
a diorama, hm, maybe... I will think about it. Have to find some rails at first. Hi all, searched and found some payload for the freight car: wooden boxes, cardboard boxes and oildrums. Rescaled, printed, built and filled the car with it. I think it looks ok. Greetings Dieter |

Graet idea to place some boxes and barrels in the car Dieter, very nice indeed. The door can be move or fixed?

Hi all, hi bkti,
after preparing the buffers, couplings and wheels the freight car is finished, too. One door is fixed in a half-open position. The wheels are made of five layers of cardboard, that gives a nice 3D-effect. Here are some pictures. Greetings Dieter |

Koef II with freight car: finished
So we have a finished little train, the switch engine Koef II and a typicall freight car. Both models are constructed by Albrecht Pirling, I reduced the scale to 1:50.
Everything fitted nicely together, it was a great fun to build this train. At the end some pictures of the finished train. Thank you all for comments and encouragement. Dieter |
