And here we are again. Despite the very good weather (what usually prevents modeling), I was able to make some progress on the little engine.

The firechamber (or whatever it's called in English)

Constuction of the kettle :

Chamber and kettle joined together and dryfitted to the base :

Till next update...

The wheels have been painted and installed (whitout glue though) :

Next will be the drivework, at this stage it really is a huge disadvantage not being able to read Polish, all I have to go on is a few drawings.

But we'll have manage anyway /

Looking good.

I have found translating Polish is not always helpful. They seem to use a lot of colloquialisms

Best to rely on photos

A little update on the engine, the drivework is a reall puzzle but it's taking shape. I'm not sure that every bit of it is in the right position, but at least it's starting to look like the drivework of a steamengine.

But first ; the brakes :

And starting the feared driveworks :

Well, that's it for today...

Finally I have found the time and the guts to finish the drivetrain, at least on one side of the model.
