Thanks for the comments
@ Erik - you mean the handrails to get aboard? They are made of rolled paper. I tried to put a wire inside the paper roll for the ring but it didn't go well. So, it is just paper. The trick was to use the inside of a pen cap as a template to jeep the ring closed while the glue set.

The model is complete. Discounting the track base, transparencies, rivets and plumbing, all that you can see is Modelik’s paper. I kept a file for the rivets. The count stopped at 2192. It adds to 126 parts for the track base and 1289 parts provided in the kit. The model is neither very large nor very complicated but it takes time to assemble.
Assembly was rather easy, as the parts fit very well. I took quite a lot of pictures of the completed model. In my view, it is both a fine kit and a pretty and colorful model! Recommended…

And the last ones. I'll be "off" the railway business for a while, showing another cathedral. Next, it will be another train

Hi Ricardo, stunning build and pictures. Your work is so clean - completely impeccable. Steam locomotives are the perfect models to display your skills!

Yes, I meant the handrail. Very smart to use the inside of a pencil cap!

Well, you may be going out of the train business for a while, but once the Hurricane is finished my next model will be a famous US diesel engine .

Cheers,
Erik

Well, you counted the rivets now you can count the "THAT'S paper????" comments you get when you show it off! Excellent work!
