I recently visited Beamish where they had replicas of two 1820s locks in steam.

Thanx, I used to look at this procedure a long time ago, even though I didn't know it was your job ...you did it nicely, I have a similar set at 1:25 (rails are plastic)
...on this model, I'd like to do it out of paper, I'll see how it turns out
