Prussian steam locomotive P 3.1 + tender Angraf 1:25
Good evening Fellow Modelers,
my next railway project is the Prussian steam locomotive P 3.1 from the Polish publisher Angraf. P in this case stands for passenger train locomotive. The additional number represents the power delivered by the engine. The higher the number had been, the more powerful the loco was. Engines with a medium power rating were given the number 3. For more details on this subject see the wikipedia's "List of Prussian locomotives and railbuses". The model is a classical Wandtke-design. I didn't count the parts, there are quite many. The order of building is not guaranteed because there are some components I cannot find at the moment but their slowly decreasing number may bring light to the tunnel to be stylish, when a steam locomotive is being built. The print is digital- a technique usually not very much liked among the builders, but this booklet series seems to have a more resistant kind of colour so it is hoped not to spoil the joy. The model is also classical in a sense that it is bi-colour: red under and black over. I hope you will enjoy my thread. |

I must intervene immediaely by asking the admin to delete the same title missing the scale marking. I published the thread twice, unintentionally. Thanks.
