Armored train museum in 1/220, Z gauge.
I take advantage of a storage period to present you a small virtual museum of my trains at 1/220, Z scale.
Here, the museum room dedicated to the armoured and military trains. Personal realization in paper unless otherwise indicated. All locos are functional, Märklin or Rokuhan engine chassis. On the first track, German armored locomotive and wagons loaded with Tiger tanks. Z panzer model in metal and plastic. On the second track, German armored train, World War II. On the third track, Slovak armoured train of 1944. On the fourth track, Czech armoured train in Siberia in 1919 with its Zamuretz self-propelled vehicle on the left; Austro-Hungarian armoured train of 1916 on the right. On the fifth track, Russian Kosma Minim armored train of 1944, Russian draisine from Leningrad, armored truck on Mexican rail around 1917. On the sixth track, Russian Podeba armored train and Red Star self-propelled vehicle around 1944. On the seventh track, Czech barracks train in Siberia in 1919. On the eighth track, German type 16 self-propelled railcar (resin Z-Panzer), Slovak armored train of 1944; Ninth and tenth tracks, Russian nuclear deterrent train, circa 1980. Some detail photos: A wagon that doesn't look good but it's full of the gold of the Russian Empire! Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) |

Love it. I also love the armoured cars which must have been so hard in a small scale. I wish I could retire and do the same in TT scale

It is interesting how a collection of camouflaged things can be so colorful!
Definitely get bonus points for the trains being able to run.
