I have been watching your Ship, your Truck, along with this Locomotive.
You mention these were all done some time ago, and that you recently began modeling again after a long pause.
What kind of project are you currently working on?
In any event, thanks for showing your work here at PaperModelers.com.
Mike

Hi Rifleman, Philip, Michael and Prabal276,
Thanks for the comments !

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your interest and comments!
The truck and the ship are the models I made long time ago and I知 posting the pictures gradually as I find the old photos, adjust the picture and post one by one, which I also think it痴 too slow. Based on your kind reminder, let me speed up posting pictures of those.

And the locomotive here, Py-27, is the model I made after a long pause (10yr+), which was completed about 3 months ago. But, again the picture posting is not as fast as it should be. Let me speed up as well.

BTW, the current model I知 working on is Angraf Ty-2 1:25.
The build is quite slow and I値l post the pictures of it as soon as I finish picture uploading of those models that I知 currently doing.

But, for today, let me add one snapshot of Ty-2.
Break system is just completed

Again, absolutely beautiful!

Sir, I may look like a fool asking these questions, but I'm a beginner with one design project under my belt...
I've never understood how these russian paper model kits go together? I mean there are no glue tabs seen and such small parts!
I also get confused when I see details like the Safety Tread on the base of the locomotive! How're they even possible in paper?

Hi Prabal,
The answer to your first question.
Most of the paper kits/plans (from Poland, Germany, Russia, etc.) provides the overall dimension and shape of the parts. Depending on the structure, the build process would include creating tabs using spare paper, OR bond the edge of a part to surface or edge of an another paper part(s). It may sound tricky, but in this forum, PaperModeller.com, there are a lot of great build reports that show how it is done.
And for the 2nd question,
I think the 7th post in this thread would be helpful (the 5th picture). Used fine mesh (got it from my wife… not free…) and attached on the surface using diluted wood glue.
After that, nominal process follows, painting and weathering.

Hope my answers are helpful.

Thanks Joon Kwon for all the information.
It will be fun and interesting to watch you build your Angraf Ty-2-1:25.
Best Regards,
Mike

attaching small connecting rods (don't know how it is called)

together with those, implemented the connection between the locomotive and tender. it may not be genuine. yeah, it's based on my imagination.
Used magnets to make it detachable.
