Hi All,
I resubmit the post as I made some mistake while I add the link to the video. I’m glad to join the group and very excited to see the great works. As the greetings to the train builders here, I share my locomotive I completed recently. Hope you enjoy the build. |

Hi beckychestney,
Thanks a lot and glad to know you like it. Hi All, Like I do for the paper model ship and truck threads, as the intro to this awesome group, I'll post some pictures of the build in this thread. The original build report was posted to the German paper modeling site, Kartonbau, recently, but I would like to share in this group as well. Hope you all like it. |

Hi PoliteGhost,
Thanks for asking. Yes, recently got one and using it for modeling. The primary reason is the injury I got on my right hand couple of years ago and it allows me to do paper modeling. Yes, indeed, it takes a lot longer time to scan the prints, capture the parts overall, fix major/minor imperfection, perform fit check between parts and, if needed, add more details on top of it, but it gives me more control on the parts. Also, other benefit is the small repetitive parts (for example, bolts and nuts). Hope my answer is helpful. |

Made some more parts and weathered the tender.
For weathering, used brown acrylic paint (diluted using water, apply multiple times after complete drying) |

Good day Joon Kwon, the model is outatanding, I have tried a few loco models and know the difficulties involved, as steam loco's have been my passion for 65 years, you have captured the true essence of a working loco with your weathering and realistic pipework and fittings, I can only stand back and admire in awe and wonder if I could ever produce work like this, I do not think so as I will not live long enough to learn, so well done , hope to see more of your great work.
