Loads of updates in this post!
I completed the cab! First, I cut out the windows, then installed the transparent plastic sheeting to the windows. This was followed by the installation of the Interior "Skins". Then the Cab control desk and driver's and conductor's chairs were installed. Lastly, the roof was installed. I also glued on the optional details such as wipers, ventilation ports, and door handles... The cab was followed by the 'Short hood' of the locomotive, the short hood of alco locomotives house the Dynamic braking resistors and the respective cooling equipment! I'd say that the locomotive is 60% complete and feel that it has started to resemble its real-life counterpart. Regards, Prabal

@ Mayank Parab Thank you!
Some more updates to the locomotive... I installed the main radiator fan on the long hood of the locomotive, followed by the exhaust stack and radio antenna. The battery box was also installed in front of the cab, beside the short hood. The radiators on the side of the long hood were also installed. This locomotive is 90% complete. Only parts that remain are the horns, headlights and handrails! -Prabal

This is really looking good! I am very interested in Indian Railways and there are not many models that I'm aware of in any medium. I'll be following this thread with interest.

@ OgdenBob
Thank you Sir! This was the main reason for me leaning to design papermodels! I wish to do many locomotives and rolling stock from India... Mainly, diesels, steamies and few older electrics... I've been able to make a little more progress, mainly the headlights and marker lights... However, I've been tied up with issues with my flight school... so expect a little delay on the horns and handrails.... Regards, Prabal
