My greatest respect for your skills and magnificent build. I have been watching several YouTube videos recently regarding air brushing and weathering techniques used by plastic modelers and you are combining such skills with paper modeling. The result is just stunning, as if you are looking at a real metal piece of machinery. Simply Art. No other way to describe it. So much to learn from it !

I think there have been many modelers who tried to apply the painting and weathering methods to PaperModeling. Looked those pioneers great works and applied to my work. I think you can take a look at my truck, which was my first trial long time ago (about 13yrs ago ).
Anyways, glad to know you like my build report and helpful. Thanks again.

Made the box at the back side.

After a couple of iterations, got the curves fit (somehow) on the surface.

Made the doors with hinges

Assembly completed

And Fit check on the backside of tender body

Beautiful! Same for the truck, amazing to see the transformation of the assemblies with their original printed colours to the eventual, spray painted and weathered result. Really a kind of "hybrid modeling".

The metal look of your tender is just very realistic.

Haha, yes. Her condition these days has been good, so there’s no restriction yet .
