The valve and line work is remarkable.
With that weathering technique, one can't distinguish metal from card.

The level of detail with the tender is going to match the level of detail in the locomotive.
Fun to watch . . . and I am curious . . . did you develop your techniques in the isolation of your own workship? Or did you learn from another builder?

Hi Michael,
When I started paper craft, for sure I looked at those build reports and tried to apply to my build. And after a while since then, I think I found my own method/style. However, as you might already noticed, the assembly, painting, weathering method/technique used for my truck (‘07) and my recent trains (‘21~) are different.

Added a couple of hand rails and wire (which I don’t know the purpose )

Make drill holes and prepare wires

Painted and weathered
