Marvelous details.
It gives the impression that the wheels will turn, the brakes will work and all the parts will function as intended. |

The level of detail in this model is just absolutely stunning, and so are your skills. Haven't seen anything like it before. I fully agree with Mike, it looks like metal and it looks like everything functions like in the 1:1 world. Extremely fascinating!

May I ask what you use for the brake dust weathering?

Hi Siwi, I use diluted brown acrylic paint on black surface. Please check my previous post.
Hi Mike, Thanks a lot. Applied weathering for the internal of tender wheel structure Before weathering After weathering Picture does not show the difference |

The size comparison picture is so good! BR52/TY2 is my favourite steam locomotive type. I have the Trumpeter 1/35 plastic kit with all possible goodies and accessories on the shelf waiting for the good moment to start the build. This thread will help me tremendously as all the other references I gathered.

Hi Tappi,
Glad to know my build log can be good reference for your train. Added the ‘void filler structure’ that to be coming into the coal box. As it doesn’t make sense to fill the box with all coal grain, decided to make the filler. Proto type for fit check After some adjustment, made the structure Using magnet, the structure detachable and snap in when it is being installed. Next step Coal grains on top of it Last edited by Joon Kwon; 03-05-2023 at 04:24 AM. |
