Paper Model, Ty2, Angraf 1/25
Hi All,
Start posting my latest build, Angraf 1/25 Ty2. Like I did for Py27 that I recently completed, LC and full painting/weathering will be applied for the build. Starting from the frame of the locomotive. As you can see in one of the picture, it is humungous comparing to Py27. Any question or comments are welcome. |

Continue on the frame.
The parts were built with minor modifications. Mostly the height adjustments for those boiler supports. Frame was then painted in black. |

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your comment Boiler Few detail up on the boiler body and the driver's booth side. Created the weld line at the side of the boiler using wood glue. |

Hi Rifleman,
Thanks a lot for your comment. the front boiler door is made and attached. After finishing some small parts, painted the boiler black. Using magnet, made the boiler detachable from the frame. |

Great work Joon Kwon.
What kind of glue do you use to fasten the magnets to the model? Mike |

Thanks for asking. Paper/Wood glue, Loctite401/406, ZAP Medium/Thin CA (in Viscosity order, thick to thin) . Wood Glue Personally, wood glue (or TackyGlue) is preferred solution for me as it creates most reliable bonding. But it takes time to set. So it is used for the case where no instant setting is required. . Medium CA (Medium Viscosity) Most of the time, I may go with Loctite 406 or ZAP medium. Good balance between bonding reliability vs. setting time. . Thin CA Thin CA glue is 'quickest' but most 'messy' solution. it is used accordingly. |

I was send this model by mistake from Answer/Angraf. I had ordered the Answer Avro Arrow model. There was a problem with their translation program English to Polish and I was sent the Ty 2. Anyway, I had never seen a train paper model before, and am bewildered on the construction process. Not sure if I am going to attempt the build. The frame and boiler sections in the model I have are printed in colour. Your parts are white?
I am absolutely amazed at the quality of your work. How are you painting your model? Spray? Air-brush? What brand of paint? I look forward to watching this build.
