Another shell before moving on to a few buildings... For the moment here is an EMD GT38ACE... Assembly from a very basic model with a few additions. Of course, other improvements will come in the future.

Your railway must be very satisfying.

Mine went from collecting and running things I bought. Then I started modifying things I bought. Then I started designing and building items. But your railway has your creative hand all over it

Wonderful scene.
The locomotive is excellent.
And the "stone" grain silo on the right is great.
I had never seen one like that.

Thank you very much... of course it is always satisfying to build your own train materials, but the strong point is to reduce the price to a minimum and keep maximum realism.

Wonderful job Remi. Glad you added the under shot to prove it really is cardstock.

No building trains or other, only traffic lights... 2 ways to do the assembly

Here a Hudson Bay 19831 reservoir, the real image, the parts and the result of the construction.

Excellent replication.
Great final image showing the "Hudson Bay" railcar at work.

Very nicely done Remi. Another very realistic model.

Well done,
Gary
