Outstanding. Am I right in thinking that you airbrushed over the surfaces and masked off any printed text?

No. I painted with a brush and used decals. You're not the only person who thought that. I used a decal on cardboard for the first time and it looks like it looks
On the cabin I glued them in a different way and they look slightly better.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried painting over printed sheets and it is usually ok, but sometimes the paint will not stick to the ink properly. Also, still experimenting with how much I can thin the paint before it risks damaging the paper. Do you make your own decals?

No, I bought them at the GPM store (SM 42( GPM 1/25) - kalkomania •). They are intended for their model, which can be seen in the lack of decal for number 280. The model from GPM is number 999. There are also decals for this model (Angraf), but when I wanted to buy them they were unavailable, now I see that they are available again (SM 42( ANGRAF 1/25) - kalkomania •).

The set with the locomotive will include a platform car 401ze (Angraf 6/2010). I already have 1Xta carts ready. I didn't like the spring hangers, so I made them my way. I used 1mm tin wire to make the collars. Somehow I managed to drill it with a 0.4mm drill bit. I made the cotter pins from 0.3mm wire. In the photo No. 1 I show how it looks in reality, in the photo No. I show how it is in the project, and in the following photos I show how I made these elements. I am currently working on the platform.

By the way. I couldn't find an option to change the thread title. I also don't see an option to change the thread location. I am asking the admin/moderator to change the title to "Maneuvering locomotive SM42 + 401ze flatcar" and to move the thread to "Railway related builds" because I made a mistake while creating this thread.
