For the rivets, I used suitably painted card. The green is not the same but that’s hardly noticeable on 1mm rivets. They were cut with a puncher.

A lot of work goes into those rivets. But, I think, it's well worth the effort.

I think so too, Michael It is not as labor intensive as it may look. Cutting the rivets is fast and there is no need to paint. Gluing takes time and patience. I put a tiny drop of white glue at the tip of a wire and contact it with the rivet points. If the glue is not too dry and not too fluid, it is possible to “process” a dozen rivets in a single pass.
Remaining details, like the couplers, and the completed tender. Some pipes that link to the locomotive are still missing. |

Cylinder construction is typical Modelik. The black/green/red paint makes them prettier.
