The spark arrester is perfect! However, the stack is crazy tall. Did you add both the simple stack and the version with the spark arrester together? The overall stack should be taller than the cab, but not too tall.

I'll take a few more pictures of my completed William Crooks to show how the cylinders and valve gear go together. You are doing a superb job! GREAT Work!!

Here are some pictures of the William Crooks for reference: I also showed an example of the pilot - that is very tricky. The careful observer will note that I attached the number to the front of the boiler upside down... this is why we can't have nice things!

Also, your pilot truck is attached too far forward on the boiler; the attachment point between the pilot truck and the pilot assembly should be right about directly beneath the boiler.

Very nice job!

I don't have a photo of my Jupiter tender, but here are a couple of shots of the 1/24th scale brass model I used for my design.

Please note that my tender trucks are ridiculously small. I need to redesign them...
