For the roof, I made several half-cuts on the card reinforcement to get a reasonably regular curvature. It is not perfect. You can see that the underside parts don’t adhere all over their length. On the plus side, those parts fit very nicely on the supports glued inside the walls.

Very nice and accurate work Ricardo, it always amazes me how clean you work, not a spill or dent!

The kit includes parts for two optional mechanisms for the main doors. I chose one and it works well. The other looks more problematic...
The last picture shows assemblies that will be placed just below the roof hatches. They include drain pipes.

The door is suprisingly solid, David. The inner part fits nicely on the wall's openings and the locker keeps the door closed even if the wagon is rotated.

The last construction pictures show diverse handrails (rolled paper with a thin wire inside) and a bit of railway “borrowed” from a GPM kit.

The model is complete. Frankly, it exceeded my expectations. The assembly drawings are well done and informative and the construction was straightforward. It may not be as eye-catching as a locomotive, but I find the result satisfying.

Fine fine effort. Beautiful piece.
Many (non paper modelers) will never be convinced it is made of card/paper.
