T13(TKpl) - Modelik - 1/25

As announced, my next model will be a train. More precisely, Modelik’s T13 (TKpl) in the Polish version. It is a wide track train of generous size, in 1/25 scale. It is printed in a A3 booklet. As you can see in the kit photos, it has 2 pages of parts to be glued to 1mm card and 15 pages with colored parts. The number of parts is not far from 2000. As usual, I plan to add rivets and there is a lot of plumbing. You see, diversion for quite some time…

Welcome aboard, Philip

As you may know, I almost never follow the proposed assembly sequence. By the way, for train stuff, there are so many separate assemblies to make that there is wide freedom to do whatever anyone wants... So, on to the cylinders. As shown in photos 7 and 8, I added some cardboard formers and paper tabs to make assembly easier and ensure the parts aligned correctly.

This one will keep you busy for a while Ricardo - Good Luck! I'll check in so every now and then. Scale 1:25, so many, many details, as could also be seen from the instruction pictures. Can't wait to see the boiler front.

You have a free ticket, Erik
The photos show several steps to assemble the cylinders. I find them a good start, as it is not a repetitive task.
Modelik’s paper laminates far too easily on small parts like bolt heads. The face may pop up and need to be glued again.
