Welcome Barry, unfortunately my relation has started during the building. But now I remember that I took some pictures of the wheel's construction. I have only five photos, but I hope that they will be useful. Wheels were laser catted, when they were stick together. The ready wheel was impregnate with Super Glue, after that it was grinded, painted. The top of the wheel was painted with metalizer and grinded with emery paper no. 1200. At the end it was polished. I can say that this process is very time-consuming... By the way, paint that I used to paint the wheel is Pactra A26 and to the rim I used normal white acrylic paint. I hope it was useful

Hello I don't have much free time for my model, but I've made some more details of the locomotive. I'd like to show it on the photos below. I will have to paint the spring again. Now I'm working with the air compression tanks. I will use only the primary parts to make cylinders, the ends of the cylinders I will make myself and with other methods. In next post I will show finnished air compression tanks.
See you later

Hello I want to show some pictures of the air compression tanks. As in the previous post, from original parts I used only cylinders, rest was made by myself with 3 layers of 3mm cardboard, which I've grind with emery paper 600. Next I put a layer of super glue on it and I polished it with emery paper 1200. After that, the whole thing was painted with red humbrol paint. I thought, that I can finish it today, but it's necessary to paint it again. I hope that tomorrow I will show you finished tanks.
