Chris, what caliber is your model '94, 30-30 or 32 special? Mine's a .32, manufactured in late 20s based on the serial number. Still the very best saddle gun in the world IMHO. Rch123, here in Idaho a wall full of guns is just good taste in home decorating.

Darwin,
Mine is a 30-30, mid-50's vintage, inherited from my grandfather and soon to be handed down to my son, who has better vision for open sights than I do.

Me too!! I own a pristine 1973 Cowboy Commemorative (30-30). It has only been fired a dozen times but shows no sign of it. I got it ridiculously cheap from a gentleman who was downsizing and sold it to me for $150.00 U.S., (2 years ago). The Nickel plating is beautiful and it is an extremely robust rifle. It is worth much more than I paid for it, judging buy the offers people have given me (not for sale though) and I am hoping to pop off quite a few rounds next Spring with it (I have been slowly loading up on ammo). Not a picture of my rifle but it looks exactly like this (mine has maybe a little shinier finish on the nickel.) |

I hate to say this, but I don't know where to begin...I modeled the butt of the rifle and tried unfolding it to test it out but something is wrong with the polygons or something because there are red lines on the model in the viewer of pepakura (I'm terrible at modeling). Also, I am still trying to figure out how to support the middle of the rifle so that it wont crush easily. I have tried finding some tutorials on about rifle making and papercraft making but nothing is very specific about rifles and stuff.
BTW, my name is Steve, so from here on out you guys can call me that if you want |
