Looks real good. You made need an English Wheel for forming some of those edges.

Dear RCH:
I started to ask what does it look like. then I used the search engene and found out for my self. Sharp looking car Wonder how it would do on Jeep roads in Colorado? I want to see the paper model come to life Good luck, Miles PS I like the paint job of this picture |

Miles, that is the paint scheme I was planning on putting on it Tomorrow I will post my progress! Zathros, I'm not exactly sure what an english wheel is.... Last edited by rch123; 11-30-2010 at 09:44 PM. |

I made a very crude miniature one of these for paper and if the cardboard is thick enough, and you are careful, you can get some interesting compound curves. Too much work for something that is not scratch build though.
That's definitely not me in the picture, though I wish the English wheel was. I wonder if that's where the expression "Put a little English into it" came from. |

Ok, here is a quick progress update. Added the main part of the interior (my favorite part is modeling the wheel wells, don't ask why ) as well as doing some smooth vertex manipulation to come up with a dashboard. Also added on the windshield. This one I plan on taking my time on, I want this one nice and detailed.

Added the "wheel guards"
I used my english wheel as Zathros said
btw, these colors are just to keep me from getting confused (I'm sure you guys know that) They aren't the paint job. Here is my progress:
