Supermarine Spitfire By Triop

Spitfire Mk 1A (Version 1)

Aircraft D, 603 Sqd "City of Edinburgh" Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

603 Sqd was based at Dyce, Hornchurch & Montross during the BOB.

Camouflage is the standard Ministry of Aircraft Production Pattern No.1 in the Temperate Land Scheme of 1940 with the exception of the under surface.

Main colours will be Dark Green and Dark Earth on the upper surface and an unusual under surface finish of white.

National insignia are normal.

Complete.

Spitfire LF VB (Version 2)

Camouflage is the standard Ministry of Aircraft Production Pattern No.1 in the Middle East Scheme of 1940.

Main colours will be Middle Stone and Dark Earth on the upper surface and Azure Blue under surface.

National insignia are normal.

Complete.

Cheers JTF

Spitfire U.S.A.A.F. 31st Fighter Group (Version 3)

Camouflage is the standard Ministry of Aircraft Production Pattern No.1 in the Temperate Land Scheme.

Main colours will be Dark Green and Dark Earth on the upper surface and an under surface finish of Sky/Grey.

National insignia are normal.

I will be using the Airfix/Humrol paint chart to get the colours to give the Spit a slightly different look to the 603 sqd colours.

Complete

Cheers JTF

Thanks guys.

I do need to do something with the canopy other than a light blue.

Re: Supermarine Spitfire By Triop

I removed your attachment - too easy to swipe.... when posting samples only post small portions of the design to give an impression of how it looks
