help with nose art on b-17 (1:200)

looking for help on the nose art of a b-17 on an otherwise completed recolor

It seems the art would go over 2 parts. Never done such a complicated design over 2 pieces, so just hoping for help

if this is in the wrong section please move it

Do we know what is on the starboard side?

Well, that is handy.

This scale is pretty challenging for a guy like me with fat fingers. Good luck.

The bombs are too small to draw at scale, but the big Air Corp eagle behind the cockpit windows might be worth a try. Do you have a picture of that?

My son's uncle flew one of these E or F models for the mighty 8th. His was no longer camouflaged, just silver. By that time, they did not have assigned aircraft, so no nose art was the normal.

The artwork got pretty small indeed. I must get my building glasses just to see it.

Let me know what you think.

I did not realize this was the B17 that crashed this past weekend. I would not have been so glib had I realized it.

My heart goes out to the crews and family and anyone involved.
