This movie intrigued me when I was young. I actually had a similar experience on I 84 in Connecticut. Fortunately, I was in my Mercedes 450SLC (I horribly regret getting rid of that car), so I was really playing with the guy. He got up to almost 96 m.p.h. at one point, trying to ram me, at that point 4th gear kicked in on the Mercedes (that car was geared tall, mine anyways), and the gap from 96 to 125 m.p.h was rather short. I was actually stopped for speeding at 6 a.m. on my way to an Electronic School (IMT) and was clocked by a Connecticut State Trooper at 126 M.P.H., he let me go!! I was following him in his unmarked car when he turned on the lights, and I of course pulled over.. That may have played into it, and he really liked the car (so he said). True Story, I swear on it. I got caught again by a New York State Trooper on 684 doing 117 M.P.H., that cost me around $800 dollars ( and a lot of time in court), I think I remember why I got rid of that car now. I attached a picture of a car that is the spittin' image of what I lost. (I still have a 1973 450SL). This is the only car I would "Duel" in.
I hope this isn't terribly off topic, I am sure there are many people who have experienced what we call "Road Rage" now.
