Way back when I was a little tyke, I tried making a six-sided building with blister packs. Made holes in some thin cardboard painted silver and slid the plastic in and taped it in place. Then taped the six walls together. It was ugly and tape didn't stick, but it was fun to try

What glues did you use? and what paints did you use? how did you get the paint to stick?
First i used an automotive spray base for plastic. this is necessary otherwise the ink does not adhere perfectly and it peels off easily. After, the red color is a common spray (not automotive). finally the yellow strip was painted with an acrylic ink with brush. I decided not to use the airbrush cause it demands some work more.

About the glues: benzene and ethyl acetate composition. The only glue I know that adheres well to plastic parts as shown in the photo. Usually this glue is used to make jewelry (bijou)

Some of these blister packs are more suitable for building buildings than machines, and you gave me some ideas. thanks!
