General Cargo Ship "Gdansk" / JSC / 1:400

The original ship was launched in 2008 and short after, JSC presented the model. Thatīs the way todays merchant ships look alike. The model was nice to built, but contains very, very....very small parts - a lot of them

Great model enhanced by a great base! Any possibility of a thread on building the base...the water looks very realistic!

Hello Joerg,
What an excellent presentation of cargo ship "Gdansk", showing her empty and fully loaded. It is great to see the detail in the superstructure and cranes. Question: what kind of material do you use to rig the cranes?
Regards,
Mike

I would never guess this was a 1/400 scale model. Excellent work on such small scale.

Another wonderful build, Joerg!

I have this kit on the to do list, but mine would not come out as great as yours did, it is really very well done! Once again, I love the water base, it looks very realistic.

Thanks for sharing pictures of your build with us!

Cheers!
Jim
