Here I am restoreing the old Battleship U.S.S. WEST VIRGINIA that fell victor to the surprise attack at Pearl Harbor, I built this many years ago from a plan set by Edward Wesswesser, made from carstock wood and metal fitting i made myself useing my lathe. She is waering the measure 5d Dark gray with light pale gray surfaces abovce the funnel line. tonight I will install her awnings that provided shade when in port this was a very difficult ship to build the cage mast fire controll stations were all weeved useing a jig plastic sprue was used foe its construction along with card board disc for a jig. I will also throw in a 1/8th scale pearl harbor surviver and victom as well the U.S.S. CALIFORNIA BB-44 The west Virginia in 1/300 scale is 28 inch,s long the California is 78 inch,s long winter is setting in here in Ohio land I usually turn two on my fleet and let the aircraft builds rest later, after i finish my AD6 Skyraider build I will be posting my fleet builds.. Youi models are always fantastic. Your pictures are always fuzzy. If you are using a digital camera, gentle press the button and allow the camera to focus, then take the picture. Sometimes, you can place a large piece of paper right where you want to focus and then remove the paper and take the picture. The camera needs to read the beam it sends out to focus the lens, it does this when you gently press the button, before you snap the picture, it is really a 2 step process. In any event. Your ships are awesome!!!!.
