It's a fine-looking model and I appreciate the many photos from different angles.

This is bringing an old thread back
But on the first page there are white pieces of paper in between the bulkheads, is this standard kit or is it scratch built? Also do they serve a real prupose?
Thanks in advance...

Hello,
Chapuzas used a method of blending two models: 1) the JSC 1/400 waterline model, 2) the Gomix/FlyModel 1/200 full hull one. The picture shows his additional scratch built planes between the bulkheads, so that the hull would be smooth. (NB: Some modelers even fill the space in between with styrofoam and hone it.)
Kind regards -
Papercaptain

Hi chapuzas100,

Very nice model and work. Is that really a JSC 1:400 at the beginning ? I'm very impressed. How did you realize the railings (methode, materials, ...). I'm interested for a JSC model of the SS United States at the same scale of 1:400.

Once aigin, very good job.
Hasta luego !
Didier

Hello everyone.

Long ago I built this model, it is very encouraging that even write comments on.

Didier HERE you can see the construction of a sequence ladders, The handrails built similarly but with a larger template, today I do not use speed glue, I do soldering.

Saludos
