Talking Aquatic Tempatations

Hi,

OK.....now for a little fun time.....during my research on ironclads I came across a ship (boat) that maybe the only vessel used by both the north and south.....it was a utility vessel of sorts!

That is all I will say for now, but you can research it if you like!

Talking Up-Date! Get It!

Hi,

Here is an update pic!

The cabin (persay) can and was changed to suite the occupants desires! Some were square, some slanted, some rounded, some bigger, some smaller, but all were beautiful to look at and ride in!

Talking Back Door!

Hi,

And one of the nice things about these boats was if you were nice to the owner they might even let you come in the back door!

This looks like an early version of a houseboat sans the Evinrude. In my small ship series I have in the mix something similar but more modern. Waiting to see how this one comes out.

Talking Early Version!

Hi,

Yes, it is an early version.....1860's, but it really wasn't a houseboat.....persay. Became popular for a time on numerous rivers north and south, and then mainly on the Potomac River after the Civil War for some reason.....

After researching it, the versions are too numerous to make or choose, so I am making a standard version, and people can modify it to their likes or documentation if they like.

I may make one scale model, of a particular madame. But really this project was to figure out the process to go from idea, to drawing, to model, to conversion, to paper model.....I think I am gonna be able to do it.
