Alvin, Trieste, etc.?

Anyone know if there are any card models available of such deep-submergence vehicles as Alvin, Trieste or others? (Technically, I guess Trieste was a bathyscaphe, but you know what I mean....)

Anyway, I did a quick search of the Tubes of the Internets and couldn't find anything. Any clues?

I believe they are models in the book Paper Captain, I can confirm that when I get home tonight.

There is a Trieste in the Paper Captain book
Amazon.com: Paper Captain: The Paper Boat Captain's Manual.

Rick mentioned it a few years ago in this thread
Paper Pilot & Paper Captain

Edit: Rick jumped in ahead of me. I need to type better.

I'm 75% of the way done designing a 1:12 Alvin, I have not seen another and I have never seen a Trieste. Im doing a series of 8, 1:12 subs,
3 are done, two in progress, 3 to go. maybe I ought to add the trieste, but a 1:12 Trieste would be huge...

ABC did a model of the Alvin many years ago. Not sure where you could track one down these days.

Thanks for the links. I'll have to check that book out, but I do have to admit I was looking for models of more recent vintage, given all the great designers out there today who do high-fidelity work.

As Chris mentioned, ABC did an Alvin model. It can be found in their big book of paper modelling, which is still available in a few places: modellservice - der Kartonmodellshop - Das Goldene Buch des Kartonmodellbaus (35 versch. Modelle!)
