You are doing your usual clean and precise work. The hull is a beauty. I am saving all of your explanatory notes and pictures for a hoped-for future build with an M3 light tank or WC-51 weapons carrier.

Here are the other large parts of the hull. Several details will be added later on.

Excellent work. The weathering is ver realistic.
Incidentally, based on the hull markings, this particular Mike boat was carried aboard the attack transport USS Guilford (APA-112), which went into service too late to see action in World War II. Since the ship entered the combat zone before the war ended, however, it was awarded the WWII Victory medal, the American Campaign medal, and Asia-Pacific Campaign medal, as well as the Navy Occupation Service Medal with Asia clasp. The principal activities of this landing craft would have been landing troops administratively (unopposed) on Iwo Jima and Japan right after the war ended, and in ship-to-shore logistical service. Don, thanks for the background info! I doubt I would have found that otherwise...
Here are the propellers and rudders. I will varnish the vessel below the waterline to minimize abrasion when building the rest.

Its looking great Marco. Ive tried a few ships but don't have the skill yet for the Hulls. Great Job so far.

One nice advantage to your landing-craft are the flat sides to the hull. And it has some very authentic looking rust. Nice work Marco.

Thank you all! And now a bit of detail, including the access hatch (made with copper wire) and the pilot house.
