There is a long build thread in here somewhere for my 1:250 version of Charles Martel with some explanation of how the model was created. Basically I used the very few diagrams that are available and did a lot of complicated photo studies to reconstruct the ship.

The reconstruction from photos must have been an awful lot of work, I'm very impressed!

I hope these images might be useful for you. I don't know if they're accurate, but they look quite good.
