The local IPMS club had a model display at the Pearl Harbor memorial recently. I was asked to bring as many ships as possible as it was planned as a ship only exhibition and most of the club members build aircraft primarily.

So I brought out quite a few models, which can be seen at the club website here

Friends, I ask you to follow the link given in the original very unpretentious posting by Greg S., and have a quick look at all the models of ships there.

Then you may take a break to appreciate the fact that these models are made to a scale of 1/2000 (yes, three zeroes, not two).

Among them are full dioramas, and they include a hangar cruiser the flight deck of which is full of aircraft.



In 1/2000 scale.
