Marco,
Absolutely beautiful detailing my friend. Your Pocher Rolls Royce isn't bad either.
Highest Regards,

Thank you! Here's another update: the transom decorations, including the lantern. I'm really glad this is lasercut...

And last weekend was a holiday weekend in Brunei - I didn't travel, but got into the masts and the rigging:

And I got into the shrouds as well. This is one of the parts of a sailing ship I always dread most, but I managed.

This is a real beauty Marco.
The decoration (bird) on the stern is certainly impressive.
I don't recall ever seeing one like that before.

Really VERY nicely done, Marco! A lot of work but well worth the effort given the finished product.

Very interesting stern decoration!

Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Cheers!
Jim

Thanks! I am currently working on the lasercut Stockholm harbour model to turn this into a little diorama - pictures will follow soon.

I haven't posted any new photos for a while, but quite a bit has happened since. Here is the remainder of the rigging, and the last details (anchors etc.) on the ship. I have done a relatively basic rigging without any sails.

This will become a diorama with the lasercut Stockholm Quay set. I brough water foil from the Netherlands during my Christmas leave, and I'm using wood stain varnish to make the colours different from the ship.
