Hello, pending completion of the Scipio who remained at home, here on vacation I brought this kit HMV, the SMS Natter. I started building the skeleton of the ship and placed the aft deck.

Hello Mike, thanks for your encouragement, I'll need it because I'm very rusty. Work on the new house they are stretched longer than expected and only now in this my short vacation I can once again devote to my favorite hobby. I chose this ship because it would be very easy to assemble or at least I hope so. I set aside for now Scipio for logistical reasons. There are camping and a ship of that size I do not know where to put it. I am still very happy to be back in play.

Jeff, I am very happy that my project has caught your attention. The model is the house HMV. and in the kit in addition to the Natter there is also present Waspe

This is a great new project, Marco, and you are off to a great start with a nice straight and true hull framework.

I do like these late 19th century ships. It was a fascinating period of transition in ship design.

HMV seem to put out really excellent models, so it should go together well.

Don, you're right, the ships of this period have a charm all its own. I hope through my work to make it attractive to all.

Freddy this ship my intention should be the prologue to a more ambitious project ever on a ship of the First World War.

Now I upgrade my ship with the construction of bridges and the headquarters of the main gun.

Great work, Marco. Are the doors double thick? They look like they are standing out.

I'm looking forward to your next installment.

Jeff yes the doors are embossed.

Chris thanks, no I do not use detail in photoetched because in 1:400 scale cost a bit 'too much for my pockets. And the great thing about this hobby is able to self build a bit 'all.

I finished the hull of the ship and started to put on the sides of the hull details.
I found some difficulty in gluing the sides of the hull because I am not accustomed to the system of tabs and I solved it by cutting the tabs.
