Blockade runner"TEAZER" 1/250 Magnus Mörck

Hello!

I would like to introduce the newest ship.

The ship:
" "Blockade Runner "TEAZER"!
The Teazer, a Confederate blockade runner, had in the beginning the only 12 pound bow gun. She encountered the USS Monitor and the USS Maratanza on the James River, on July 4, 1862. A shot from the Maratanza pierced her boiler and her crew was forced to desert her.
Fast steamboats were used to break the federal blockade of the Confederacy, bringing a sought after cargo of cotton and military supplies. This one, identified as the "Teazer" in the Libarary of Congress, was photographed having been intercepted off Wilmington."

Website: Magnus Mörck (Magnus Mörck) on Myspace

The modell:
Designed by Magnus testy, I'm built.
Helped a lot in the following forum:

Thank you, Jim, helped a lot in the description!

The ship is not yet ready for the painting to come...

Very nicely done!

I'm glad you rigged her with furled sails, I think this gives this model a more complete look than without them.

Thanks for sharing photos of your build with us, they are marvelous!

Cheers!
Jim

Great job on the Teaser. I printed one out several years ago, but have yet to start it. The furled sails and railings are the perfect finishing touch. A very pretty ship.

Very nice build. I like the rigging, it is very crisp and neat.
Would you be willing to share your technique for making railings and ratlines?

Mr. Magnus Mörck left quite a legacy before he passed away. I think people will be building these models as long as there is an internet to get them off of, and possibly longer.

Nice job Joe711, nice and clean looking.

This was a beautiful ship to start with and you have done a fine job with this model. excellent rigging and, as others have said, the furled sails add much to the appearance.

Good to see Magnus Mörck's memory will last so long as modelers build his models.

I am so taking the limit and rigging:
(sorry I know little English)
11. frame
12. lashed to the thread
13. smeared with superglue. CIANACRYLAT DANGER!
soaking up the excess glue (25th picture)
14. cut out the next day, carefully
15. I'll cut to the desired size with scissors

and paint ...

To understand the description?

Answer me please, thank you!
