River Flat boat build, 1/250 scale

Well, between design projects I decided to do a build. I found a model I printed off some time ago and never got around to building. This is going to be the 1/250 scale build of my river flat boat, about mid 1840s. I have also had a large amount of "help" from my 9 year old, who dutifully has made a number of the small crates used on the boat. Pictures to follow...

I like this, kind of reminiscence of reading a Samuel Clemmens story of Tom Sawyer or Huckleberry Finn. I may try my hand later on in making a 1/35 scale in the future. Will look in on your build for references and ideas as well.
