In search of a couple of different models....
After seeing the movie "Lincoln" over the weekend, I have a hankering to build a Civil War-era riverboat steamer. I've seen the stuff at the ecardmodels site and may try one of their Union boats, but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea where to find a decent riverboat model for download online. (And not the one on the Disney site.)(And while the Confederate boats at ecardmodels look like fine models, I refuse, out of principle, to build anything connected with the Confederacy.)
Also, I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any models of the submersible Alvin anywhere. Thanks. |

Would the Seite-42 riverboat work?
Seite 42 - Mississippi steamboat (1979) The New Orleans from YPS doesn't look bad. http://www.ypsfanpage.de/sonst/bastel.php?bogen=139
