Thanks Bradford.
Thanks Orazio.

Thanks Don: I must ask: Two unfinished V108 torpedoboats?? Would be fun to see.
True story: In 2002 when I received the kit, I decided 1:250 scale was impossible.
So I had all the parts sheets enlarged to approx. 1:180 scale. Even that size seemed too small.

08 - Superstructure

Thank you Marco.
Thank You David.
Thank You Corey. Note: I have made great progress in learning "sketchup", thanks to your excellent tutorials.

Hello Modelers,

It is time for the forward superstructure.
These are always fun, and I send compliments to H.M.V. Everything fits like it should.

The lower part of the superstructure went together well. All the pieces shown in this update are paper, except for the deck (card) and the two pieces (card) bridging the area between the gun platform and the superstructure.

Regards,
Mike

Hello Mike,

I went through this thread belatedly and find your skills are superb as usual.
I like your neat and clean build on superstructure and delicate parts, not to mention excellent hull build.

Thanks Henryk. Behind the scenes, I have been experimenting with your "tracing paper" technique for hull plating. It has gone very well. I intend to use your method next time I scratch build a hull.
