Thanks, I am trying to give my best. My greatest worries at the beginning were Deck 5 and the hull balcony cabins. But I found a solution. I must get accustomed to the fact that a current build is only as good as the picture material that is available. If this is scant you must improvise sometimes even if later you obtain another picture, That is modelbuilder´s life. That is why I am very hesitant to change previous builds as they are a snapshot of the times when I built them including the materials and methods available then. A good example is my TS Bremen (1959) model from 1989. Of course today there a lasercuts and stairs etc. But for a model of the 1980s I think it was beautifully made by me.

That was also my question when I watched at the other sites ofv those who have built pools. No information about the technique! First I assess the depth of the pools: normally they are just dip pools, so I figure no more that 1.50 to 1.80 meters on passenger ships. Sometimes on pics you can recognize the feet on a scale beside. I have chosen 8 mm at the rear, 2 at the entrance. Then I cover the pool with a foil but leave about one mm at the top. Underneath there are little foil poles at each corner to hold it in place and to make it level. At the end I cover it with Modellwasser Aqua (Model Water) by Busch (www.busch-model.com). I spread it with a toothpick, but little whirls are wanted. Cover it for 4-5 days so that no dust can stick forever. And then you have a nice pool. Get the towels ready....

Spectacular job! That looks like a lifetime of work. The deck chairs alone...

Thanks for sharing and making all of us envious.
