This is the closest I know of. I know it's not exactly what you are looking for.

Oliver Bizer (Olli) designed a simple, but good-looking, LCI(L): Landing Craft US Navy/ Infantery
This was the version with side ramps and square conning tower. I am not sure about the availability. You might try a PM to "Oliver Bizer." Don My book Over the Beach: U.S. Army Amphibious Operations in the Korean War (http://usacac.army.mil/cac2/cgsc/car...pubs/boose.pdf 3mb download) discusses LCIs briefly in the WWII context, but has no illustration since, to the best of my knowledge, only one specially-configured LCI was used during the Korean War, LCI(L)-1091 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_LCI(L)-1091. |

PTA has the LCVP (landing craft vehicle and personnel), the LCA (British landing craft assault), and the LCM (landing craft mechanized) - http://www.papertigerarmaments.com/Watercraft.html. But so far as I know, they do not offer an LCI (landing craft infantry).
Unless someone is aware of an LCI model, then Olli Bizer's model is you best bet, and it can be scaled to 20mm wargaming size. Don |
