SS Ben Read from 1923 David Hathaway 1:400

Hi all,

this time I start a small model of David Hathaway/ Paper Shipwright.
Scale of the kit is 1:250 rescaled in 1:400, it comes with two sheets of parts and some more pages of instructions and drawings.

I am glad to see two models in two different scales of Ben Reid underway in the Forum. I have this model and really want to build it, since I love early 20th century merchant ships, and Ben Reid is a very appealing-looking little ship.

This looks like another of your really excellent builds, Marco, and I expect to learn a lot from tracking your construction.

I presume that this model will be part of the diorama that will include your recently-completed tug?

Don

Hello Don, yes this model will be part of the diorama that will include my recently-completed tug

Hello Dieter, I hope to do it like you.

Hello Mike, yes, his models are very beautiful and technically very well made

Great work in such small detail and scale. This is a most enjoyable thread Marco. Looking forward to your next update.
