G'day, educational and entertaining in one, patience not required. Your posts bring a huge amount to us lucky enough to see them, and your wonderful ships. Thank you, Sir, for everything you bring and the smile on my face when I see your ships. Done good, Sir, keep rocking on please. Sorry my verbiage is stilted, word finding is not a strong suite sometimes.

Hello Ab,
I think you mentioned in one of your reports that your son produces the photographs of your ships.
If that is true, he produces very fine images of your work. These are excellent, and they display the very high quality of the work. I hope you have more projects planned for 2021?
Mike

Seahorse and Don Boose: Thanks for your praise. Without such comments modelbuilding is just half the fun.
Catopower: Good to hear your interest in Dutch shipping is aroused. Even though the Shipyard fluit is not really a Dutch ship. It's the fun of building that is what it is all about.
Mike1158: Happy to bring a smile on someone's face. Your post has the same effect on me :-)
Firdajan: Keep building Jan, your reports are always a joy to watch.
Michael Mash: I'll pass your rightful comments to my son. I am proud. Of course other projects are running, I hope to keep you posted.
JohnMGD: Thank you. Your own work is not bad either!
Damraska: Thank you, sir. It's just paper :-)

'Just paper' my arse. You can do wonders with it.

I spent way too much time yesterday just checking out the rigging. Always so much to see.

Thank you for sharing

Yes Vermin_King, there is a lot to see, but it is also a hell of a job to rig these monsters. I rather build five hulls than to rig one. It takes about as much time.
But it always pays off so well...

I would never be able to do the rigging. It really adds to the already wonderful models
