Hello !
thanks for your nice comments . The two onboard cranes, first not yet fixed. The next filigree work relates to the seven lamps. Of the 70 mm cannons are to make sixteen. Friendly greetings Kurt |

Outstanding work on the details, Kurt.
Fred - I am very glad to know the name of the green color, but am curious as to who Monteccouli was. I can't find him, although there was the famous condottieri (and Hapsburg military commander) Raimondo Montecuccoli, after whom the Italian cruiser was named. Different folks? Don |

How about Rudolf Montecuccoli, chief of the Austro-Hungarian fleet 1904-13.
Responsible for modernising the fleet before WW1. Regards, Charlie |

The green was considered effective in Adriatic conditions. However, after the war started, they went back to a more traditional gray.

Lawrence Sondhas wrote two excellent books that cover the history of the KuK navy, The Naval policy of Austria-Hungary, 1867-1918, and The Hapsburg Empire and the Sea, 1797-1866. They are not hard to find.

Gentlemen,
Thanks! I have this kit and was wondering about the color scheme. The important thing for me, though, is the clear coverage of the casemates. JSC was not clear in the Goeben's instructions. Bill |

Hello !
The four spacers are equipped with wire by template and distributed on board. The bollards as well as the tops and spill are mounted on the rear deck. Six loading winches as well as the grommets and anchors placed at the bow. Kind regards Kurt |
