Looking for: USS McCain, DDG-56
Does anyone sell a model of this Arleigh Burke-class destroyer? Or is there an Arleigh Burke that includes this name and number in the parts list? I'd prefer 1:350 scale, but I will accept smaller scales if there isn't one available.

i was thinking of designing this myself. 1/350 is my prefered scale.

The only Arleigh Burke that I've seen is an older design by GPM. I can't remember which year though. It's the namesake of the class.

Is it any good? I mean, are there any problems with it?

I searched Kartonbau and did not see anything on the GPM model (still a couple other foreign language sites to check but I hear a kid awake interrupting). I also found reference to yukiyuji having a version that was free / downloadable. Unfortunately his site is no longer available, but I believe if you search there's a link up on our forum somewhere to the wayback machine of his site, so it may be there.

It's way out of print. I've only seen the cover of it, and never built it so I couldn't comment on construction.
I too searched Kartonbau and I couldn't find a thread anywhere on it. Even papermodelstore.com doesn't have a copy in the out of print section. Stumped... But it does exist. I've seen the creature.
